At the beginning of October, the entire Steimle team was out and about on the construction site to inspect the progress of the sports and multi-purpose hall. Today there is another special spotlight on the hall, which is due to be completed next year. The timber hybrid building responds to its different uses with an interplay of wooden slats and glass façades. The trees of the surrounding square are reflected in the window panes, while the green façade blends the building into its surroundings.

The team of FC ST.EIMLE has been preparing for the Sportscheck Night Run for weeks. On Friday it was then finally so far. The Team of FC ST.EIMLE started at Stuttgart Night Run by Sportscheck! Directly in front of the gates of the offices, the running area was built and the start and finish line were set up.
At 20:15 o'clock it went off then with the new generation. The Runners Pulk 1 sprinted towards its 5km at 20:45. Easily recognizable by their red headbands and club stickers of FC ST.EIMLE, the runners were cheered on by the fans. At 21:45 clock then came the last starting signal for the evening. The 10km run led four times from the market place over the Königsstraße around the Eckensee. On October 13, early in the morning, the Steimle Architects team set off in the direction of Vorarlberg. A first stop was made in Wangen im Allgäu. There the team from Überlingen was collected and together they visited the construction site of the sports and multi-purpose hall in Wangen. The Überlingen office is working flat out to ensure that the project will be ready for the opening of BuGa 2024 in Wangen. The hall and its newly designed surroundings are the prelude to the Federal Horticultural Show.
Strengthened, the bus headed for Lustenau, where the Baumschlager Eberle office provided insight into their innovative office building. The building, which was completed about 10 years ago, manages completely without a heating system and always maintains an optimal indoor climate for a wide variety of uses, from doctors to fitness studios. A small time buffer also allowed a look at the nearby office building of Marte.Marte. Both offices appeared a second time over the weekend.
For now, however, the bus continued on to InnauerMatt's kindergarten, which impresses with its charming wooden details. Now it was time to move into the magnificent accommodation.
The ten chalets of the Peterhof in Zwischenwasser stand picturesquely in the landscape. The weather conjured up the complex designed by Baumschlager Eberle in a golden autumn light. The next morning we went, uphill - downhill in a somewhat wet hike to the refuge of Marte.Marte.
The afternoon also followed the work of the Marte.Marte. In Feldkirch, the team visited the old castle that has been rebuilt by Marte.Marte and is now used as a small resettlement office. After a gingantic excursion and gigantic schnitzels at the Schattenburg, the team returned to Stuttgart and Überlingen with many new impressions.
The Markolfhalle in Markelfingen was inaugurated at the weekend. After the old sports hall burned down five years ago, the sustainable wooden building is now ready as a new focal point for sports and events. The hall can accommodate 700 people in seating in addition to gymnastics, ball sports and gymnastics. The timber hybrid building, with its striking timber-frame structure, embeds itself in the surrounding landscape and shines with chic details both inside and out.
