If everything went well, sucessfull competitions get to projects. Our projects develop through the planing stage. We always try to stay with the idea of the competition while we try to make the building stronger and more optimized by the time. A good example is the district office in Gunzenhausen. The developments in architecture are not only to be found in the ever higher, ever larger cities. More and more unique, functional and innovative architectural building blocks are also being created in rural regions. There are no limits here, from organic farms to town halls. Our barn library in Kressbronn on Lake Constance may also travel along in the travelling exhibition. Under the title "Schön hier" (Beautiful here), the Deutsches Architektur Museum in cooperation with the Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark present the exhibition on architecture in villages. The exhibition opens on 1 May 2022 in the open-air museum in Anspach.
"Increasingly, attention is being paid to rural regions as a center of life. They are places to live and work. Architecture can be an expression of valuing something; it can, in the best cases, generate a sense of confidence. For this reason, it is worthwhile to commit not just to many small construction tasks but also to entire village cores."

The construction site of the SWR on the banks of the Neckar River in Mannheim is progressing in leaps and bounds. Currently, the formwork for the development core on the 1st floor is being erected. Meanwhile, the last masonry walls are being completed in the basement. And in the right light, a construction site can even look like a small art exhibition. The new area at the trainstation in ludwigsburg just finished, and already nominated for the callwey price "residential buildings of the year 2022". We are happy about the nomination of the Sprenger buildings and wish all the best for the new inhabitants.

In Karlsruhe the jury under Prof. Ludwig Wappner awarded the design of the Markgräfliches Palais from steimle architekten with an appreciation. Behind the landmarked, historical facade from Friedrich Weinbrenner, the PSD-Bank will build their new offices. Furthermore they will develop apartements, shops and trade offices in the new area.

Today was the ground breaking ceremony on the construction site for the applied university in nuernberg! For this ceremony was also the minister president of bavaria markus soeder on the construction site. The building will be finished in 2024.

The Jury under Prof. Jörg Aldinger awarded the design of steimle architekten the third prize for the Kreuzerfeld Sporthall in Rottenburg. The jury describes the design as powerfull, traceable image in the topography.
