The fire station in Germersheim has been completed and will be occupied by the local fire brigade this month.
The Fulda Rescue Control Centre receives the Simon Louis du Ry plaque. The BDA Hessen awards the prize every five years under the title "Large Houses, Small Houses - Excellent Architecture in Hessen 2018-2023".
The Ost Hessen journal quotes from the statements of the expert jury :
The jury was very taken with the Fulda projects. For example, it judged the control centre: "The rescue control centre is characterised by an independent expression that results from the diagonally positioned lanes on the ground floor and was thus conclusively developed from its use. The chosen exposed concrete construction gives the building a sculptural and resistant expression that is appropriate for its use. Inside, complex utilisation structures are skilfully organised in a very clear floor plan. The building is not only to be mentioned as a successful extension of an industrially influenced building ensemble, but also as a reference for future vehicle halls."

On the former AEG construction site in Nuremberg, the shell for the Technical University is in full swing. Up to four storeys are already rising above the ground. Some of them already have staircases, but otherwise they are still pretty rough. A closer look, however, even gives us a glimpse of the future hydraulic engineering laboratory.
In the Allgäu region, Fluckholzbau is once again standing on the roof of one of our construction sites, heralding the topping-out ceremony for another timber construction sports halls. The wooden elements are currently still hidden behind large black plastic sheets, but the partially green-coloured wood is already visible in the interior. The multi-purpose hall with three-field sports hall, gymnastics rooms and refectory area will be part of the State Garden Show 2024, which will be held in Wangen im Allgäu.
Progress on the construction site in Markelfingen can be seen in leaps and bounds.
The façade of the multi-purpose hall is in place and the interior work is also progressing well. The tiles have already been laid, the suspended ceilings are almost finished and next week the exposed screed and the impact wall builder are expected.
Let's knock on wood that the construction site continues to make good progress!
In Stammheim near Stuttgart, too, people are digging in the earth. Here, archaeological excavations are underway on the building site. So far, however, there is almost only earth to be seen.
For a long time it was quiet about our fire station in Überlingen on Lake Constance. But now the planning around the station has been picking up speed again for a few months. In the meantime, the earth is already being moved back and forth on the new site of the fire station. The construction of the base plate is scheduled to start in April.
The guiding idea of the design is the tension between a powerful new building and the historic town hall, which forms a new overall ensemble with a great identification effect in the heart of Steinheim an der Murr. The new building is based on the structure of the historic town hall. It takes up the theme of the massive plinth on which a contemporary wooden building is erected. The colour scheme with the grey plinth and the earthy red tones also strengthens the ensemble character.
On the 15th Februray the Stuttgarter Zeitung published an article with the titel "ten of the prettiest houses in the region of stuttgart". Our residental house E20 in Pliezhausen is one of them. We were particularly pleased, that the journalists take there time to talk with the builders how they live in there homes. And after all the years in his polygonal house, he said, that he ever want to come home an say "wow", now he can.
Under the following link you can see the ten dreamhouses in stutgarts region.
