The new quarter forms the beginning of the development and links the planning area with the surrounding buildings. An attractive central square will be created in the center of the new quarter, offering a pleasant outdoor atmosphere and a diversity of places to meet others. Given their prominent location, the buildings’ impact from afar as part of the city’s urban fabric also seems important to us. Here, the design concept of individual residential blocks ensures that in all directions, no visual obstacles are created and a proper scale is maintained in relation to the surrounding buildings. This yields a residential scale that promotes a sense of identity and optimally integrates the building mass into the existing urban context.
